Where a guide’s misses get reported — and dated.
Contact is Eakles’ reading-and-corrections channel. It is not a sales desk and not a general inbox. If a step in one of the 581 published guides did not reproduce on your bench, this is where it gets logged against that guide’s bench card, rebuilt by a second pair of hands, and appended to the original article under a date.
No mailbox, phone number, street address or response time is published anywhere on this site. Corrections move in bench order, and the dated appendix under the article is the reply.

Route 02
A build report from your bench
Photographs of what you made, what broke this week, the ambient conditions in your shop. Field notes are dated, not how-to — that job belongs to the guides.

Route 03
“Which guide covers this?”
A research question, a gap in the library, or a reference table you cannot find. Check the guide index and the reference tables first — the answer is often already written.
What happens next
A correction is appended, never silently edited.
The original text stays standing so a five-year-old guide remains readable and you can see exactly what changed and when. Four steps, in this order.

Logged against the bench card
Your report is attached to the card that recorded the original build: tool, material batch, ambient temperature and humidity, and the step in question.

Rebuilt by a second pair of hands
Someone who did not write the guide reproduces it from the written steps alone. Any step that needs verbal clarification is rewritten before it goes live.

Dated appendix published
The finding is appended under the article with its date, describing what differed and which fix held. No silent overwrite of the published text.

Original text left standing
Nothing is retested on a schedule, and no archived article is presented as freshly verified. The appendix is the honest record of what changed.

Shape of a useful correction
You do not need to be polite, complete or diplomatic. You need five things, because these are the fields on the bench card and anything missing sends the report back.
- Guide The article title or its address.
- Step Which numbered step did not reproduce.
- Hardware Printer or board, plus the material batch.
- Conditions Ambient temperature and humidity at the bench.
- Instead What happened on your bench, and what you changed to make it hold.

If it did not reproduce on your bench, that is the thing worth reporting.
Return to the desk, fill in the shape, and the miss gets logged, rebuilt and dated under the article it came from.
